About

LionBridge Consulting is a boutique advisory practice specializing in international relations and digital policy, working on topics such as AI, data governance, cybersecurity, connectivity, internet governance, online safety, and quantum technologies.

Many organizations lack the capacity to track emerging policy debates, decode technical discussions, and influence outcomes. LionBridge Consulting fills that gap. It separates signal from noise, identifying where, when and how to engage effectively, and making connections to the people, processes, and opportunities that matter.

Acting as a trusted guide, LionBridge Consulting equips clients to participate confidently in systems that shape long-term outcomes, whether to protect their interests or turn international developments into strategic advantage.

The company is led by Ben Wallis, a multilingual international relations and public policy specialist with deep experience working on AI and digital policy issues for both public and private sector organizations.

Services

LionBridge Consulting helps organizations move from uncertainty to informed action by:

  • Clarifying complex policy and regulatory developments

  • Providing direction on where to engage, when to act, and how to position

  • Connecting clients to the institutions, stakeholders, and coalitions that matter

  • Translating policy momentum into strategic opportunity

It works closely with clients to understand their priorities and then delivers targeted advisory support, including tailored insights and recommendations through to hands-on execution.

Services include:

  • Policy landscape analysis - mapping out where and how emerging issues are being discussed across the international system, and how different processes work and relate to each other.

  • Regulatory impact translation - explaining how outputs from multilateral and multistakeholder processes translate into policy risk and opportunity at the national level.

  • Government and multilateral engagement - determining the process points and interventions most likely to deliver impact, then designing and implementing targeted strategies to influence international policy development.

  • Visibility and partnerships - uncovering opportunities for international visibility, thought-leadership, and strategic partnerships that can unlock funding, expand reach, and support long-term impact.

In addition to serving as a bridge for organizations to the international system, LionBridge Consulting also supports the United Nations and other international bodies. This includes helping these institutions understand national and regional perspectives, clarify stakeholder priorities, and identify the partnerships needed to deliver programmes and initiatives more effectively.
